Environmental photography award

Without denying the great challenges that await us, or hiding the damage done by Man to Nature, the photographs selected for the third edition of the Environmental Photography Prize of the Prince Albert II Foundation of Monaco reveal the incredible beauties of our Planet, from the polar regions to the depths of the ocean, or in the heart of ancestral forests. By focusing on our relationship with nature and the close links between human and global health, photographers invite us to a journey in images and deliver us a message of hope; that together we can still act effectively, if we join forces to limit the effects of climate change and promote the resilience of ecosystems. Several categories were awarded, with one winner for each: Humanity versus Nature, Actors of Change, Marine Worlds, Heart of the Forest and Polar Wonders. This book presents, in front of each photo, the testimonies of photographers, who encourage us to change, innovate, invent sustainable solutions in order to better rethink our lives, our economies. They reveal a real “field of possibilities” for new generations aspiring to a more harmonious relationship with Nature.
