80 photographs, taken between 1926-2008 by 46 photographers. The photographs are accompanied by literary miniatures by 49 contemporary authors. Glamour photography is the highest form of photography as an applied art. It is a sub-area of portrait photography, nude photography and fashion photography. For a select circle of clients (and customers), it makes the greatest creative and technical effort to achieve excellent results, be it for the world stars of film and politics, be it for the genre of erotic photography, which is constantly changing with the spirit of the times, or for the top performances of the fashion designers and couturiers of the respective epoch. This has been the case since photography came into existence. Glamour photography works with special professionals in addition to photographers: hair artists, make-up artists, stylists and stylists, outfitters and lighting technicians of all kinds. In this sense, it is also a subdivision of advertising for eccentric personalities and products. The beauty industry is, so to speak, a client with unlimited material means and corresponding aesthetic results.
