Beuys in Perugia

This publication, published on the occasion of the museum rearrangement of Palazzo della Penna in Perugia, created by Italo Tomassoni, offers an exhaustive and updated reading of Joseph Beuys, one of the most emblematic protagonists of post-World War II world art. In fact, the six blackboards made in Perugia by Beuys in 1980 during a meeting, which later became a historical one, have found a new location in the final museum aspect between the German master and Burri. The volume, due to its overall contents which go beyond the occasion of the inauguration of the Museum, is also an ultimate tool for studying and deepening the ideology and aesthetics of the German master.
